Dr Wheatley’s Research Papers:

Is there a third, unsuspected, mammalian coenzyme function for cobalamin/vitamin B12 in one of its two active forms, adenosylcobalamin?
Much circumstantial evidence points to a direct relationship between levels of cobalamin/vitamin B12 and the beneficial effects of nitric oxide, the universal second messenger, in inflammation and the immune response.
This presentation gathers the existing evidence, biochemical , microbiologic and chemical to proposes a very testable hypothesis. If the hypothesis is correct, we have a key to unlock the many medical challenges still posed by chronic and acute disease, including sepsis and cancer.

Cobalamin in inflammation II – cobalamins can both selectively promote all three nitric oxide synthases (NOS), particularly iNOS and eNOS, and, as needed, selectively inhibit iNOS and nNOS.

A unified theory of the causes of monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) and multiple myeloma, with a consequent treatment proposal for long-term control and possible cure.

The etiology of Multiple Myeloma is generally acknowledged as obscure. The epidemiology presents a number of puzzles…
